The Pan-African Progressive Front (PPF) extends warm revolutionary greetings and unwavering solidarity to the West Africa People’s Organization (WAPO) on the occasion of its third anniversary.
WAPO has emerged as a principled and courageous force in the West African sub-region, firmly rooted in the traditions of anti-imperialism, Pan-Africanism, and people-centered struggle. As partners in the broader continental movement, WAPO played a key and commendable role in the International Conference of Pan-African Progressive Forces, contributing meaningfully to its political depth, regional representation, and grassroots perspective. Their presence and engagement strengthened the collective call for justice, sovereignty, and Reparations.
Over the past three years, WAPO’s work in uniting workers, youth, women, peasants, and popular movements across colonial borders stands as a powerful example of what organized people’s forces can achieve, even under hostile political conditions. Their commitment to grassroots mobilization, political education, and regional solidarity directly uplifts the wider African struggle against imperial domination, exploitation, and neo-colonial structures.
As WAPO marks this important milestone, the PPF salutes its leadership, membership, and allied movements, and wishes the organization greater strength, clarity, and success in the years ahead. We are confident that WAPO will continue to play a vital role in advancing the fight for dignity, sovereignty, and people’s power in West Africa and across the continent.Together, in unity and struggle, we move forward! Until Africa is free, just, and truly belongs to its people.
Long live WAPO.
Long live Pan-African solidarity.
Forward ever in the struggle for African liberation.
