The Pan-African Progressive Front (PPF) has published its March 2026 edition of Progressive Updates — a curated compilation of statements, press releases, and solidarity communications from African nations, progressive institutions, and peoples' movements from across the continent and the diaspora.
This edition covers a defining month in the Pan-African struggle. It includes PPF's press statement welcoming the passage of UN General Assembly Resolution A/80/L.48 declaring the transatlantic slave trade the gravest crime against humanity in recorded history and the African Union's official response. It carries the post-conference release from PPF's Online Conference on Reparative Justice and Colonial Accountability, which brought together 97 participants from more than 36 countries and 36+ organisations. It documents the growing international solidarity movement against military aggression on Iran, featuring statements from Cuba's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Peoples' Assembly, and Namibia's Foreign Ministry. It carries the Pan Africanism Today solidarity call for the release of Comrade Booker Ngesa Omole of the Communist Party of Kenya. And it features the Socialist Movement of Ghana's International Women's Day statement alongside a solidarity letter for the heroic people of Cuba.
The debt is acknowledged. The reckoning must follow.
