PPF RELEASES SEPTEMBER 2026 NEWSLETTER: "YOUTH MOBILISATION, ORGANISED STRUGGLE, AND THE POLITICAL AGENCY OF A NEW GENERATION"

26.09.2026

The Pan-African Progressive Front (PPF) has released its September 2026 newsletter, Progressive Updates, centring this month's edition on youth mobilisation, organised struggle, and the political agency of a new generation.

The issue opens with the International Youth Forum, "Africa's Freedom Is in Our Hands," convened by PPF on September 5 at the ISSER Conference Hall, University of Ghana. More than 250 young people from 11 countries gathered to confront Africa's debt crisis, reparatory justice, and the continuing weight of colonialism and external domination on the continent's political and economic life.

Also featured this month: President John Dramani Mahama's address to the UN General Assembly reaffirming Ghana's commitment to reparatory justice, Palestinian rights, and an end to the Cuba embargo; Comrade Kwesi Pratt Jnr's call for socialist Pan-African unity at the University of Cape Coast; Jamaica's formal petition to King Charles III on Britain's role in the transatlantic slave trade; and continuing coverage of the global reparations movement, from Chinese forced-labourers seeking redress to the BRICS+ declaration on Cuba and Palestine.
